Livingstone stores the maps, routes, markers, and book entries you create. This data is associated with your account to allow syncing across devices when you are signed in.

Usage information

We may collect limited usage information to understand how the app is used and to improve reliability and performance. We do not use this information to track you across other websites.

Offline-first design

Livingstone is designed to work offline. Much of your data is stored locally on your device and synced to the server only when you are signed in and an internet connection is available.

Livingstone stores application data locally on your device using browser storage technologies such as LocalStorage and IndexedDB to enable offline functionality.

Payments

Payments for Livingstone Pro are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. Livingstone does not store your credit card information. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.

  • Stripe - payment processing
  • MapLibre - map rendering library
  • MapTiler - map tile hosting

These providers may process limited technical data necessary to deliver their services.
